Effortless long sleeve trainer from Italian bicycle manufacturer Pinarello, founded in 1952 in Treviso by Giovanni Pinarello.
The company supplied bikes to a number of teams including the Italian Inoxpran team of the early 1980’s.
The simple colour scheme is offset by the inclusion of coloured bands on the upper sleeves, on the left the colours of the Italian bandiera while on the right the yellow and pink bands pay homage to Inoxpran team rider Giovanni Battaglins victories in both the Giro d’Italia and Vuelta Espana of 1981 – the pink band for the winners jersey in the Giro, the yellow for the winners jersey of the Vuelta.
The design is nicely completed with the inclusion of Pinarello branded patches at the shoulders, world champion trims on the collar and cuffs and finally SMS Santini branding on the zip pull. Overall a very pleasing design.
