Perhaps one of the last great designs to be constructed with the familiar combination flocked lettering on acrylic.
By 1985 the majority of teams had switched over to using polyester as the material of choice for their kit.
This bold design is packed with detail and makes strong use of the side panels of the jersey, these are contrasted by the sleeves in red with white lettering featuring the branding of Yoko radio and the iconic Colnago club logo.
This team featured the well know Dutch rider Zoop Zoetemelk among it’s equipe. By 1985 he was reaching the end of his professional career but still managed to be crowned World race champion, this at 38 years of age.
Career highlights included a Tour de France win in 1980 and placing second six times, he started and finished the tour sixteen times which is a recored equalled by only one other rider.
